I hope everyone was able to enjoy a field trip or two this school year. I am always interested in input from you. I do my best to honor requests that are made; however, it may take me some time to get it scheduled. Every attempt is made to plan the year out in advance, so your request might not be seen immediately; nevertheless, please keep them coming. Thanks to Sue and Michelle for their wonderful assistance this year. It has made for a better year with much more variety.

We will be planning over the summer, so please email us if you have a good idea or something that may tie into what you may be studying.

Field Trip Policy
Please check your calendar before signing up for a field trip. SCA gives a head count and
prepayment on field trips which makes refunds very difficult. In some cases there are no refunds. Some field trips have number limitations, so please call your team leader ASAP if you find out you are unable to attend. There could be a waiting list and you may be able to get a refund. It is your responsibility to call your team leader if you aren't able to make a field trip (even if it is free). This is the courteous thing to do so that others do not wait for you. See page 15 in the SCA handbook for more field trip information.
