How to apply for a staff position
All staff positions are paid positions. Job descriptions are located in the file box which will be available on
campus during classes. In the file box are manila folders containing job descriptions in alphabetical order.
Take a copy of the job description that interests you most. (Take from two areas or more if you are unsure) The
red folder contains staff applications. When you have made a decision, fill out the application and return it to
the yellow folder (or to Tracey Hodge’s staff folder). Tracey will be happy to answer any questions you may
have concerning a staff position. Please feel free to ask. |
Who should consider a staff position?
Those who love to serve, those with a financial need, those who have been in prayer about doing so, those who
feel called. |
There is an immediate need for a junior high class coordinator. This job usually begins in March,
planning for the coming school year. Most of the effort for this position takes place between now and
the end of the school year as you create the class schedule and coordinate with the teachers. A little
updating of forms and mailings to the teachers remain through the summer and then you are pretty
much finished before school starts. It is a job that is concentrated in the spring and a little in the
summer and bingo-you are ready to be that perfect homeschool mom. Check out the job description.

Volunteer Jobs
Because we are a co-op, all members are required to help within SCA in some way. As in the past, you will
need to have signed up to help in either a staff or volunteer position before your registration for the coming year
will be accepted in May. Please contact Tracey Hodge with any questions. |
