Faculty Meeting Instructions
As you enter the church lobby, look for your Team Records
table (A, B, C or D). Sign the attendance sheet and remove
any paperwork that has been placed into your family’s folder
in the team file box. Place any required paperwork (e.g.,
attendance, Course of Study) into that same folder. DO NOT
PUT CHECKS OR BOOKKEEPING SHEETS, OR ANY HIGH SCHOOL RECORDS,
INTO THE FOLDER. ALL HIGH SCHOOL ATTENDANCE, COURSE OF STUDY
AND QUARTERLY REPORTS GO TO JAN PARSONS.
1. Please bring the 2 bookkeeping sheets
to the faculty meeting.
2. Be seated by 6:55 pm. If you have questions,
feel free to ask someone to assist you, or you can wait and
ask your question(s) during the meeting. The sign in sheets
and boxes with the family folders will be put away until after
the meeting. Please do not try to access your folders.
3. Bring your checkbook. That evening, you
will be paying for tuition, classes, field trips, events or
possibly SCRIP.
4. Direct all records-related questions to
Sally Hogg if you are on Team A or D, and Helen Smith if you
are part of Team B or C.
5. After the meeting, fill out your bookkeeping
sheet (keep one copy for yourself) and you will be directed
when to take it to the Bookkeepers.
6. DO NOT PICK UP MATERIALS FOR ANYONE ELSE.
7. DO NOT SIGN IN, PICK UP MATERIALS, AND
LEAVE. If you do so, your name will be crossed off and the
meeting will be counted as a missed meeting.
Attendance Procedure
The SCA Faculty Meetings are an integral part of our communication
network, as well as a significant tool for our life in community.
These meetings are a point of accountability, as well as an
opportunity for fellowship, support and encouragement.
Our time together is highly valued and we hope that you will
recognize the importance of attending every meeting. We do
know, however, that life’s circumstances can sometimes
prevent you from attending. As a result, we allow two “no
questions asked” absences per school year. If you miss
a Faculty Meeting (corporate or in-home):
- Make arrangements with your Team Leader to retrieve your
paperwork
- Mail in your payment directly to the Cash Receipts person
(Jill Valenzuela).
- Mail in your bookkeeping sheet directly to the bookkeeper
(Jill Capote).
- Send your elementary attendance directly to your records
keeper (Sally Hogg or Helen Smith).
- Send your high school attendance directly to the High School
records keeper (Jan Parsons).
DO NOT SEND IT ALL TO ONE PERSON. THEY THEN HAVE TO DISTRIBUTE
IT TO THE CORRECT PLACES.
If you miss a third meeting, you will receive notification
from your Team Leader and you will incur a $25 fine.
June, July and August attendance slips may be turned
in at the October meeting. Upon receipt, the attendance slips
will apply to the 2007 - 2008 school year.
Please contact Ann Barkley, who will also provide you with
the worry-free script for the correct procedure,
